With the increasing levels of competition in the marketplace and decreasing levels of customer loyalty, making conversation on social media and sharing quality content can build trust with your current and potential clients and actually create a stronger bond and loyalty that can, if you truly care about your customers, create a community.

People have an inherent intrigue for stories and desire to be part of something larger than themselves. If you can successfully build this over time, you will not only enjoy the community yourself, but your business will thrive for years to come.

Quality Content Matters

We as consumers can sense when someone cares about what they’re doing, and when they’re simply selling to make a buck. Throwing some sub-par content together will not cut it. No one will look twice, or they’ll unsubscribe. This may even impact the trust they have for you. Here are some general guidelines you can follow:

  • Quality / Authority: show your knowledge off with tips and tricks of the trade; show off the time you’ve been in the industry especially if it’s more than any of your competitors.

So, how do you know if after all these efforts that it’s worth it? If it is truly great, people will share it over social media. They will comment on it. Even better, if people link to it directly from your website, this can be extremely valuable.
